The longer you wait, the worse it gets.
Think of it like your teenage son, the longer you let him skip his shower, the worse it gets. The smell of unwanted odors, you find yourself avoiding that goodbye hug and you question whether he really brushed his teeth today. The same goes for your pool or hot tub. The longer you wait to take care of it, the worse it’s going to get.
Pick A Day
Pick one day out of the week where you can consistently maintain your pool or hot tub water. Once you create a habit out of it, it’s a lot harder to forget. Also, it may help you to use it more often! Set a reminder in your phone or put a post-it note on you mirror until it becomes a weekly habit.
It Will Save the Bank
Have you ever been in what’s called Chlorine Demand? If you’re reading this and those words make you cringe from head to toe, you know what it’s like. If you’ve never experienced it, you don’t want to.
